S4835 AUTOMATIC VOLUMETRIC COLD PRESS
Suitable for cold pressing of usual powder/diamond mixtures as well as granulates. The press can work either semi-automatically (manual charge) or automatically (by mounting a filling device).

CONSTRUCTION


  • The machine base consists of a stable welded pipe construction creating a solid, compact unit on which the main press, hydraulic aggregate and control unit are mounted.

  • A hydraulic device is mounted to the center section of the main press for automatic filling of the die cavity. The two basic positions of the cylinder are scanned via proximity switch.

  • The positive stop of the bottom cylinder can be lowered by approximately 3 mm after filling the powder. The filling depth of the bottom punch is controlled by a large knurled adjusting nut. The down-stroke of the lower cylinder and touch-down on the rigid positive stop is done with reduced pressure of 40 bar (12 kN).

  • The press is securely paneled from 2 sides. The other two sides are paneled with a hinged door. The hinged door is locked manually and monitored electrically. In the upper part of the hinged door a small sliding door is integrated to enable charging of the press during semi-automatic operation. The sliding door is also monitored and locked electrically.
